I HAVE NEVER RIDDEN BEFORE, WILL I BE OK?
Our horses are the safest to ride on the island these are the reason: 1 they have never went threw any abuse or neglect to the point they have to be adopted. 2. All our horses are geldings which makes them more gentle with human interaction, giving you a smoother ride. 3. Our horses came from a riding camp for little kids, so if the kids can do it at the age of 6 then this is definitely ok for you.
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?
We take anyone age 6 and up. We will take 5 year olds as long as they are taking riding lessons. There is no age maximum, if you can get on with our assistance, you can ride. A 60 minute ride is recommended for small children, anyone with disabilities, or hip, knee or back problems. There is an $80 fee if your child needs to be led through the ride.

Please describe special needs via email . Most special needs cases are capable of doing our ride on a lead. We have taken guests on our rides with autism, ADHD, Down’s syndrome, Asperger’s and physical disabilities (i.e. amputees, injuries).
WILL I GET TO CANTER?
We only canter at low tide when the footing on the beach is firmer so as to avoid injuries to the horse’s tendons. Safety is our number one concern, and if you have never cantered before it is safer to do it at lower tide. We only take experienced riders who show control and balance in the saddle cantering on the beach.
I'M A BEGINNER/NOVICE, WHAT WILL I GET TO DO ON THE RIDE?

The horses normally choose to keep their feet on the ground, however, more experienced riders can try to take their horse out for a swim if they can find a deep enough section.
